The Project – Commercial Kitchen Ventilation at The Commissioners Quay Inn, Blyth
🏗️ The Project
Commissioned as part of a major new development for Blyth’s growing hospitality sector, The Commissioners Quay Inn was built to serve the busy Tall Ships event held in August 2016. The venue combines a restaurant, bar, and hotel under one roof — requiring a durable, efficient, and regulation-compliant kitchen solution.
Working in partnership with Crosbys, RS Vents Ltd designed and installed a complete ventilation package to meet the demands of a high-volume commercial kitchen.
- Extract & Supply Wall Type Hood (8m x 1.5m)
- Stainless Steel Wall Cladding
- Dishwash Hood System
✅ Results
RS Vents completed the project on schedule in May 2016, delivering a clean, modern, and reliable kitchen environment tailored for high-capacity operation. The system was built to withstand busy service demand and maintain compliance with fire safety, hygiene, and airflow regulations — all while blending seamlessly with the Inn’s contemporary interior.
