The Gainford Group took over the County Hotel in 2016 as part of a continued expansion program.
The Gainford Group took over the County Hotel in 2016 as part of a continued expansion program. The Low Floor refurbishment consists of a public bar area 'The Hudson' and kitchen restaurant areas. The kitchen, which is on view to diners, has proved to be a massive success since opening in July 2017.

The Project- Commercial Kitchen Ventilation Installation at The Hudson Bar, County Hotel – Newcastle Upon Tyne
As part of an extensive refurbishment program, the Gainford Group undertook a full redevelopment of the County Hotelin 2016. A key feature of this project was the transformation of the low floor level, which now houses the stylish Hudson Bar and a high-end open-view kitchen and restaurant area.
RS Vents Ltd was contracted to deliver a complete commercial kitchen ventilation system, designed to perform efficiently in a space that’s fully visible to customers — combining both function and finish to a high standard.

This project demanded a solution that was not only high-performing but also visually discreet and built to impress. The finished kitchen, opened in July 2017, continues to operate as a key asset of the hotel — offering both style and performance in a customer-facing environment.
